The Valentine - It Was a Long Day

Before leaving the house, I went through the check lists on my note book to make sure I didn't leave any of them behind. My schedule for today was

1. Buy a pen drive for Yiren from Lot 10

2. Drop my car for Pitt who's working near Lot 10 so that he can help to take care of it when I am not around.

3. Take LRT to Pudu Raya Bus Station.

Yes, I decided not to drive back hometown this time. Trust me, driving back alone for a long journey is a really bad idea.

I had a quick lunch after getting the pen drive. A flash back appeared in my mind while passing by a small café at the ground floor. It was a great memory.

When I was reaching Pitt's office, my phone ringed. I had a bad feeling when I saw her name appeared on the screen. My sixth sense was proved soon after that. Again, she was asking me to help her with video shooting. And after the video shooting, I will have to transfer, edit and convert the video to a VCD. It reminded me the sleepless nights I had from the last favor I did for her.

In other word, I will have to drive all the way back to Bukit Jalil and get my video camera before I could pass my car to Pitt. Considering the bags that I had to carry and the time that I needed to catch the bus home, I have no choice but to reject her. I tried to tell her that I have my own situations to worry on but she couldn't understand. Guess it was because she was needing my assist badly. When I was about to drive back Bukit Jalil, Mom called up.

"Where are you now? Get to the bus station yet?" Mom said.

"I just went to buy the pen drive for Yiren."

"Pen Drive? Is the shop very far? Why you didn't tell me earlier? Maybe I can buy it then you don't have to purposely go so far to buy it. So, are you on the way to the bus station yet?" Mom said.

"I... I... am... about to drive back.... Bukit Jalil. N...eed to get my video camera. A friend needs my help."

"Hai yooooo... Can you please don't do things like this again? Don't you know that you already had too many things to worry on? Do you know that I also have lots of work to do but I rather do it myself in stead of disturbing you? Do you know that you are hurting my heart when I know that you are troubling yourself because of helping friends? A good friend should know how to consider others' feeling too. Please don't waste my effort." mom yelled.

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. I'm going home now. See you later."

"Next Station, KL Sentral. Next Station Sentral" the LRT system announced. Only, I realized I already missed the station that I suppose to go! I was surprised with my carelessness today. Without hesitation, I changed to the opposite train and get back to the station I missed.

I took out my phone from the pocket to look for the time, the screen showed "Dialled 1: ..." Only, I knew that I called him by coincidence.I was stunned when I realized another recklessness of mine. To be polite, I sent a sms to apologize. He replied with a "missed call"

Out of sudden, I felt so lonely and needed a pair of ears badly.

It supposed to be a sunny day but the weather changed out of sudden. I felt extremely cold in the bus. I have no idea it was because of the heavy rain or the air-conditional of the bus. However, luckily I was not alone on the seven hours journey. Greeting sms and calls from dad, mom, sister, housemates and friends warmed me up. Really appreciate all of you.

I will accompany sister to temple in Bangkok tomorrow. Wish her get well soon!
